Board members of Friends of Hancock County CASA, Inc. gratefully accepted a grant from NineStar Community Trust’s Operation Round Up program this week. Mt. Vernon High School honor society members recently gathered to ring bells for the Salvation Army. Several bell ringing events are coming up in Greenfield. The Greenfield Police Department will have a ring-off with the Hancock County Sheriff’s Department from 4-8 p.m. Dec. 8 at Walmart. The Grinch will appear at Walmart on Dec. 16 and Dec. 23.
