Top sailor: Cunningham earns military excellence award from boot camp
GREAT LAKES, Ill. – Seaman Grace Cunningham of Greenfield graduated as the top sailor from Recruit Training Command (RTC) Great Lakes, earning the Military Excellence Award on Aug. 29.

Fifteen members of Riley Wranglers attended the National Square Dance Convention in Milwaukee earlier this summer. The group is accepting new members: Learn modern Western square dancing with lessons from 7-9 p.m. beginning Sept. 18 at Cumberland United Methodist Church, 219 N. Muessing St., Cumberland.
