NEW PALESTINE — To say Friday night’s win meant a lot to the New Palestine girls basketball team would be an understatement.

NEW PALESTINE — With the energy and intensity still in the building prior to tip-off after a close varsity girls game, the New Palestine and Pendleton Heights boys teams added to it.

Greenfield-Central’s boys basketball team improved to 12-0 overall and 4-0 in the Hoosier Heritage Conference with a 70-50 victory over visiting New Castle Friday.

It’s called the Hoosier Heritage Conference Wrestling Tournament but you might as well call it a mini-state championship.

CHARLOTTESVILLE — In a dual meet where all contested matches ended with a fall, Eastern Hancock’s injury-riddled boys wrestling team was defeated 54-30 by Frankton on Senior Night at Eastern Hancock High School Tuesday.
