NEW PALESTINE

With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Joe Allan Tarrh on October 7, 2024, at the age of 66. Born on March 26, 1958, in Sullivan, IN, Joe was known for his unwavering love for his community in Perry, FL. He graduated from New Palestine High School in 1977.

Joe led a life filled with simple pleasures, finding solace in hunting and fishing in the scenic surroundings of Keaton Beach, a place that held a special spot in his heart. His passion for the sea extended to his love for the television series “Wicked Tuna,” where he found joy in watching the fishing adventures unfold.

Despite his physical limitations, as a disabled individual, Joe found immense joy in the company of his beloved family, particularly his nieces and nephews. He cherished their stories of everyday adventures and found solace in their presence.

Joe is preceded in death by his father, Leonard Tarrh Jr.

Joe is survived by his devoted spouse, Renda Tarrh; his loving mother, Kathleen Tarrh; his brother, David Tarrh; his sister, Lynne Branock (Russ); his nieces and nephews, Lynsey Watkins (David), David Tarrh Jr. (Alisha), and Derek Branock (Amanda); his great nieces and nephews. His absence will be deeply felt by those who knew and loved him.

In honor of Joe Allan Tarrh’s memory, a private memorial service will be held at a later date to celebrate his life and the impact he had on all who were fortunate enough to know him. May his kindness, love for family, and appreciation for life’s simple pleasures be cherished forevermore.
