Country Vintage Market Nov. 2
GREENFIELD – The Country Vintage Market returns to the Hancock County Fairgrounds soon.
The event is 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Nov. 2 and features two buildings of food and craft vendors at the Hancock County Fairgrounds, 620 Apple St., Greenfield.
The event is hosted by Hancock County Extension Homemakers and is a fundraiser for the group.
Memorial dedication ceremony coming up
GREENFIELD – A dedication ceremony for a new memorial is coming up.
The VFW Post 2693 will host a community ceremony at 11 a.m. Nov. 9 at Vietnam Veterans Park, located at the intersection of Ind. 9 and Davis Road. The ceremony is for a memorial honoring Indiana Rangers serving in Vietnam, specifically Company D (Ranger) and the 151st Infantry (Airborne) Battalion. A light lunch will follow at the post.
Chamber to host women’s conference
GREENFIELD – The Hancock County Chamber of Commerce will host a women’s conference in November.
The Women in Business Conference is set for 9:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Nov. 15 at NineStar Connect, 2243 E. Main St., Greenfield. Celebrate the achievements of women in business, hear from a panel and enjoy lunch. Registration is $50. Sponsorships and door prizes are accepted. Bingo event to assist MV Education Foundation
FORTVILLE – The Mt. Vernon Education Foundation is hosting a Bourbon, Bags & Bingo event to raise money for its mission to enhance the educational experience for MV students.
Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Nov. 7, with Bingo starting at 6:30 p.m. at The Barn at SilverStone Farm, 6508 W. 100N., Greenfield.

Libertarian Party to host candidate event
NEW PALESTINE – The Libertarian Party of Hancock County will have a meet-and-greet event with candidates at 1 p.m. this Sunday, Oct. 27
The event is at El Toro Bravo, 7242 U.S. 52, New Palestine and will feature free appetizers to all guests.
