Love Inc. to benefit from brass concert

GREENFIELD – An evening of music featuring the Indianapolis Brass Choir will benefit a local organization.

The event is from 4-5:30 p.m. Oct. 27 at Trinity Park Church, 207 W. Park Ave., Greenfield. A good will offering will be taken benefiting Love In the Name of Christ of Greater Hancock County (Love Inc.).

Hospital to host trunk or treat

GREENFIELD – Hank’s Spooktacular returns to Hancock Regional Hospital this month.

The trunk or treat event is from 6-8 p.m. Oct. 24 in the parking garage of Hancock Regional Hospital, 801 N. State St., Greenfield. The family event will happen rain or shine.

Hoodie donation drive this month

GREENFIELD – Bring in new or gently-used hoodies in a donation drive this month.

Hoodies for the Homeless is happening now through Oct. 31 at Erlewein Mortuary, 1484 W. U.S. 40, Greenfield. Donations will help keep homeless warm this winter.

Food pantry to offer lunch, groceries

GREENFIELD – Enjoy a meal and free grocery pickup at Wellspring Food Pantry.

The pantry, located at Brandywine Community Church, is open for lunch at 11:30 a.m. Oct. 23. Food pantry pickup is from 12:30-2 p.m.

The lunch is in the church atrium while drive-through grocery pickup is at the barn adjacent to the church at 1551 E. New Road, Greenfield. For questions, call 317-462-2015.

HCPL offering treats during “Booo-ky Season”

GREENFIELD—The Hancock County Public Library is offering trick or treating for gift cards to local businesses.

From Oct. 21 to Oct. 31, checking out at least five books per day entitles a library card-holder to draw a prize from the “All Treats, No Tricks” bag while supplies last. Prizes will include gift cards to local businesses. All physical and digital book checkouts count toward the giveaway. Patrons must show their receipts (or device for eBooks) at the information desk.
