Bonnie Sue Fawbush peacefully joined her Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, October 12, 2024, surrounded by her family. She was born January 4, 1950, in Columbus, Indiana to William Howard Newland and Ella Goodin Newland, who both preceded her in death. She graduated from Columbus High School and worked for the majority of her life as a human resource manager in banking and manufacturing. She married Jeffrey Mark Fawbush on March 7, 1981, who survives her.

She was a member of Community Christian Church in New Palestine, IN. She dedicated over a decade to leading the church’s scrapbooking ministry, tirelessly raising funds each year for the church’s scholarship fund. Her commitment and passion touched many lives, leaving a lasting legacy of generosity and community spirit. Her love of family and friends exemplified her life as a follower of Christ and a servant to those around her. As a young girl she developed a love for flower gardening and continued to labor in her many flower beds throughout her life, even working a part-time job in retirement at a flower shop making arrangements.

She was the proud mother of two daughters, Traci Branstetter (Craig) and Kori Murphy (David) and five grandchildren, Bayleigh Shrader (Jaime), Olivia Murphy, Mason Branstetter, Logan Branstetter, and Maggie Murphy. She was known to her grandchildren and great-granddaughter, McKinleigh Gray, as “Nannie”. Sue is also survived by step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren, Samantha Stanger (Keivonne, Keishawn, Trinity, Ishiah) Bailey Branstetter (Elliana, Wyatt), and Tyler Branstetter (Rory, Reese, Rowan). She is also survived by four siblings, Patricia Gastineau (Glen), David Newland (Faith), Deb Cummings (John), and Mollie Wills (Steve).
