The 2024 Hancock County 4-H Ora Callahan Award winners were recently announced, honoring student achievement in the program. The Ora Callahan Award was established by the Callahan family in 1963 by Ora and Shirley Callahan to recognize two top outstanding 4-H members in each category of achievement, citizenship and leadership. The awards were created to stimulate growth and development of 4-H members; award recipients are in grades 10-12 and are selected by their 4-H achievement records.
