To the Editor:
There are so many Republicans in Hancock County that a Republican candidate cannot lose.
As a life-long Republican, I once thought that was a good thing.
But now Republicans are abusing their power by ignoring their constituents at the state and local levels. The final blow was all of them now refusing to show up for a public forum where they were invited to share their views of what they would do if re-elected again.
I can’t take it any more, so this time I will be voting Democratic. I hope that Republicans will become more accountable by the next election.
