Leaders from several of Greenfield’s nonprofit organizations gathered recently for a photo, accepting checks from the Strawberry Festival hosted by Bradley United Methodist Church. Each group received $2,000 from the successful June 14 event. Recipients were Hancock County Food Pantry, Hancock Hope House, The Landing Place, Kenneth Butler Memorial Soup Kitchen, Talitha Koum Women’s Recovery House, Love INC., Friends of Hancock County CASA, and Bradley UMC Preschool. Sponsors for the festival included Hancock Health, NineStar connect, Sertoma and many other local businesses and individuals.
