GREENFIELD

Vicki Wilson, age 59, of Greenfield, Indiana, passed away suddenly on June 18, 2024. She was born in Indianapolis on February 4, 1965, to Gerald L. and Margaret Ann (Grove) O’Neal. A 1983 graduate of Pike High School and 1987 graduate of Purdue University, Vicki established roots in her home state of Indiana spending much of her life in Greenfield.

In her post grad years, Vicki worked as an Actuarial in Indianapolis before spending the rest of her career as a financial planner for Money Concepts where she recently celebrated 15 years with the firm.

Her love and passion revolved around books for children and animals that could help those children that struggled with reading. She and her dog Bozer spent time volunteering for Bentley’s Buddies &Friends literacy program where children had the ability to strengthen their skills reading to a furry friend. Vicki was also part of the steering committee for Hancock County’s Imagination Library which has put free books in the hands of over 2,500 children ages 1-5 throughout Hancock County.

One of her biggest joys was her niece Ali (19) and nephew Cooper (17). She relished following their active lives, and cherished every text, phone call and photo she received. She was an extremely proud aunt to each of them.

Her memories vacationing on Half Moon Lake in Wisconsin throughout her life were never far from her mind. She thoroughly enjoyed traveling to California, Hawaii and Maine to visit her siblings, and trips to Las Vegas.

Vicki was predeceased by her parents, Gerald L. O’Neal (2004) and Margaret Ann Grove O’Neal (1984).

She leaves behind her brother Michael O’Neal King, and his husband Ryan, of California, and her sister Sheri Bragg, her husband Jason, niece Ali, and nephew Cooper, of Maine.
