GREENFIELD
Daisy Marie (Wiggins) Robinson, 96 of Greenfield, passed away on Wednesday, May 15, 2024, at Hancock Regional Hospital in Greenfield. She was born on February 26, 1928, in McCrory, Arkansas to the late Dock Swazy &Jessie Mae (Ball) Wiggins. She married Elmo Carlee Robinson on August 10, 1946.
Daisy attended Pumpkin Bend grade school in McCrory, Arkansas. She spent her working years as a home health aide for the elderly and at Victorian Rose Catering, both jobs she very much enjoyed. She has been a member of the Greenfield Church of God since 1957 where she sang in the choir for many years. Daisy was also a member of the Greenfield Ladies Auxiliary for 20 years. She enjoyed fishing, southern cooking, and entertaining her guests.
Daisy is survived by her children, Gary (Pat) Robinson of Greenfield; Diane (Chuck) Page of Greenfield; Mary (Mark) Roland of Greenfield; Sheila Robinson of Greenfield; grandchildren, Chad, Aaron, Heather, Carlee, Chase, Josh, Travis, Jamie, Jessica; several great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Elmo C. Robinson; brothers, Cecil &Clarence Wiggins; granddaughter, Aletha Gaye; and daughter-in-law, Barbara Robinson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 19, 2024, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm at Erlewein Mortuary &Crematory, 1484 W. US 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. An additional hour of visitation will be held on Monday, May 20, 2024, from 10:00am to 11:00am at Greenfield Church of God, 1561 E. Main St., Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held at 11:00am with Rev. Jerry Ballard officiating. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
