GREENFIELD
Freda S. Brock, 89, of Greenfield passed away Saturday, December 23, 2023 at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born December 4, 1934 in Scarbro, West Virginia to the late Orvin and Anna (Aliff) Scarbro.
Freda was a devout Christian and had a strong faith in God. She attended Calvary Tabernacle in Indianapolis for 31 years and currently a member of the Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Greenfield. She was employed at Hancock Regional Hospital for 19 years retiring in 2000. Freda enjoyed reading, working in her flower gardens, traveling but mostly, spending time with her family and grandchildren.
She is survived by her grandchildren, Ryan (Ashley) Porter and Rayann (Mikel) Knepley; great grandchildren, Alijah (Marli) Forbes and Christian Forbes, Max, Beckett, Hayes and Regan Porter; son in law, Ron Williams (Karen Marsh); nephews, Stephen and Scott McGuffin and Timothy Naylor; a niece, Holly McDowell; brother in law, Earl McGuffin and several great nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Anita G. Williams; and sisters, Janice McGuffin, Lisa Naylor and Karla Moran.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 27, 2023 at Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel with Pastor Joseph Riggs officiating. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
