Jennie L. Johnson, 86, of Ingalls, passed away Thursday, October 12, 2023, at her home surrounded by family. She was born December 22, 1936, in Parkin, Arkansas.
Jennie worked at RCA for many years and was a waitress at several restaurants in Fortville. She loved flea markets, traveling, spending time with family, going to the casino and eating out. Jennie dearly loved her Arkansas home and her family there.
Jennie is survived by children: Cindy (Kenny) Jackson, Julie Turner, Billy (Missy) Hurst and Rick (Lisa) Hurst, stepchildren: Richard (Kelly) Johnson, Matt (Patsy) Johnson, and Connie Stumbo; 13 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren and special friend and caregiver Donna Jo Warren. She was preceded in death by her husband Lloyd Johnson, her parents Will and Jane Herron, grandson Josh Shanklin and son-in-law Mike Turner.
A funeral to celebrate Jennie’s life will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, October 19, 2023, at Seals Funeral Home, Fortville. Friends may call on Thursday at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the time of service. Burial will take place at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville.
