Beverly Sue (Myers) Keesling, age 58, of Indianapolis, passed away Friday, September 1, 2023, at home. She was born in Greenfield on October 9, 1964, to Marion and Barbara (Fink) Myers. She graduated from Greenfield Central High School in 1984. Mrs. Keesling also attended House of James Beauty College in Greenfield. She married Stephen D. Keesling on March 12, 1986.
She worked for C&J’s Catering and Floral in Shirley for over 25 years and was a homemaker. Mrs. Keesling was a member of TOPS and the Home Economics club. Beverly loved organizing family gatherings and being a mom of 2 and an aunt, babysitting especially for her nieces and nephews. Traveling to visit her sister and stay at her house, attending the Covered Bridge Festival each year, and visiting Shipshewana each year were some of her favorite things to do. She enjoyed shopping at Goodwill and yard sales. She also liked cats and M&Ms.
She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Stephen D. Keesling; children, Amy M. (Michael) Jennings, and Adam Keesling; siblings, Kathy (Ray) Todd, Robert (Lisa) Myers, Charles (Christine) Myers; Sisters-in-law, Lisa Powell, Pam McClure, and Dora Stern; best friend, Carla Sturm; and mother-in-law, Jessie Keesling. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters-in-law Terry Gebhardt and Debra Bently; father-in-law, Willbur Keesling; and friends Deanna Smith and Sheryl Vaughn.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 9, 2023, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary and Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. The funeral service will begin at 6 pm.
