Depot Street Park to host concerts
GREENFIELD – Two live concerts are coming to Depot Street Park this weekend.
The Motown Sounds of Touch, with opening act Revealed 2.0 begins at 6 p.m. Friday, Aug. 11 as part of the Entertainment @ Depot Street Park series.
CRUSH Bon Jovi Experience with opening act Mammoth Flynt begins at 6 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 12 as part of the Live @ The Rails series.
Events are free. The park is located at 251 Depot St., Greenfield.
Chocolate, art in downtown Greenfield
GREENFIELD – Downtown Greenfield will be busy this weekend with the annual Chocolate Walk and an exhibit reception at the Twenty North Gallery.
The Chocolate Walk, hosted by the Greenfield Area Chamber of Commerce, is 5-8 p.m. Aug. 11 where participants can pick up gourmet bites of chocolate from downtown businesses and nonprofits. Tickets are $15 in advance at greenfieldcc.or or $20 at the door, if available.
Portrait Society of America Regional Exhibit will be at the Twenty North Gallery throughout August. A reception will be 6:30-8:30 p.m. Aug. 11, and a portrait event is scheduled for Aug. 12 where the public is invited to watch art in progress as radio personalities sit for their portraits.

Hops 4 Hope set for Aug. 12
GREENFIELD – A craft beer tasting event benefiting the Hope House homeless shelter is coming up Saturday.
The 10th annual Hops 4 Hope is 2:30-7 p.m. Aug. 12 at the Hancock County 4-H Fairgrounds, 620 N. Apple St., Greenfield. The event will feature live music from Stella Luna and the Satellites.
VIP admission opens at 2:30 p.m. while general admission opens at 4 p.m. Tickets range from $25 to $85; participants must be at least 21 years old to attend. Visit hops4hope.com for tickets.
Library starting new craft club
GREENFIELD – A new crafting club for adults is launching this month.
Crafternoon Club is 1-3 p.m. Aug. 15 in the Grace Rea Study Room 3 of the Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie Road, Greenfield.
Bring your own crafting project to work on and join for conversation and camaraderie. All skill levels are welcome. Adult coloring pages and colored pencils will also be available for those who don’t have a project to bring. Register at hcplibrary.org or call 317-462-5141.
Hancock Flat 50 coming up
GREENFIELD – Registration is open now for the Hancock Flat 50, a community bicycle ride and festival coming up Aug. 26 in Greenfield.
The event will feature 50- and 25-mile routes, open to cyclists of every skill level. Cost is $50 for either the 25- or 50-mile ride. Live music from Stella Luna will be on site after the ride, as well as food trucks and several booths. New this year is an Easy Ride package for family and friends who want to be part of the festivities but do nowt want to participate in a riding event. Register by Aug. 8 to receive a free T-shirt or tank.
