FORTVILLE – The Vernon Township Public Library will host a community meeting at 6:30 p.m. May 31 about a potential new building.
The library board this week voted to rename the library from Fortville-Vernon Township Public Library to simply Vernon Township Public Library to make it clear that the library serves the entire township, including McCordsville. The meeting May 31 will provide an overview of the planning process, site plans and take public feedback on options for a new building. The event will be at the current library, 625 E.
