Eastern Hancock students were surprised last week when dinosaurs welcomed them to school. May 5 was Sueprhero Day in honor of cafeteria staff, and the sixth grade team had the idea to bring joy to students by greeting them getting off the bus wearing superhero dinosaur costumes. Lindsey Shaw was the Venom dinosaur, Shari Doud was a Spiderman dinosaur and Jenni McDaniel was a plain dinosaur — “since not all superheroes wear capes,” she says.
