For the first time in his young major league career, Arizona Diamondbacks right-handed pitcher Drey Jameson was credited with a loss.
The Greenfield native was the losing pitcher in Sunday’s 7-5 h0me loss to the San Diego Padres.
Jameson, who made his major league debut at the end of the 2022 season, is now 2-1 on the season with one save.
Since joining the D-Backs in September of last season, Jameson is 5-1 with a 2.40 ERA.
On Sunday, he lasted just one inning, giving up three earned runs with one strikeout, three hits and three walks.
His next scheduled start is slated for Saturday, April 29 at Colorado.
