New Palestine’s gymnastics team finished the regular season with a victory at Shelbyville Tuesday.

In a four-team meet, the Dragons won with 97.626 points. Fishers placed second with 85.875. Shelbyville (69.65) and Lutheran (50.375) followed.

New Palestine freshman Lynzie Stiller won the vault (8.45) and floor exercise (9.175). She was fourth in the all-around (31.125).

Another Dragon frosh, Olivia Frank, was second in the all-around competition (32.7). Frank placed second on floor (8.875) and fourth on vault (8.15), uneven bars (7.625) and beam (8.05).

In her final regular-season meet, senior Addy Kendall won the balance beam with a score of 8.55. She was third on bars (7.675).

Junior Becca Johnson was third on vault (8.175) and tied for third on beam (8.275). Sophomore Chiara Polo was fifth in the all-around (30.725) and tied her teammate Johnson for third on beam (8.275).

The Dragons will compete in the Connersville Sectional Saturday. The first event is scheduled to begin at 11 a.m.
