The Landing to host teen program open house

GREENFIELD – The Landing in Greenfield will host a Discovery Cafe Open House at 5:30 p.m. Feb. 6.

Discovery Cafe is a place for people ages 12-17 who may be facing mental health, substance abuse or other life issues to “be real and to find a belonging”

The event will allow people to tour the space, meet staff and students, hear information about the program and more. Reservations are required for a head count on dinner items.

Farmer luncheon scheduled

GREENFIELD – A Winter Farmer Luncheon is set for 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Feb. 9, with guest speakers on the global supply chain, regulations, inventory and more.

The event will be at NineStarConnect, 2243 E. Main St., Greenfield. Speakers are Matthew Seibel and Lais McCartney.

Call to register by Feb. 1 at 317-462-1113. Cost is a $10 PARP credit; lunch will be served.

Bowling fundraiser set for FUSE

GREENFIELD – The 14th annual Strike a Difference for FUSE Bowl-a-thon is set for 5 p.m. Feb. 11 at Strike Force Lanes in Greenfield.

The event benefits Families United for Support and Encouragement, which assists families of special needs. Teams of five can be formed, or people may sign up as individuals. All bowlers are challenged to raise a minimum of $100; a prize will be awarded to the top individual fundraiser. The organization is also seeking sponsors for the event.

Golf simulator fundraiser Saturday

GREENFIELD – A golf simulator fundraiser is set for Hawk’s Tail Golf Course this Saturday, Jan. 28, raising funds for Meals on Wheels of Hancock County.

Hour slots for $100 are available starting at 8 a.m. and going to midnight. The event will feature raffles, a hole-in-one pot, drink specials and more. The golf course is located at 145 S. Morristown Pike, Greenfield. Call 317-462-2706 for more information or to register. Meals on Wheels is a weekday meal delivery program for the community.
