St. John dinner is Thursday

Blood drives coming up at churches

McCORDSVILLE — McCordsville United Methodist Church will have a community blood drive from 2-6:30 p.m. Thursday at the church, 6247 W. Broadway, McCordsville.

‘Samuel Morris’ showing is Jan. 21

GREENFIELD — “Samuel Morris: The African Missionary to North America” will be shown at 6:30 p.m. Jan. 21 at Curry’s Chapel Church, 3488 N. County Road 375E. It follows the story of an African prince who escapes his captors and becomes eager to share his story and his faith.

The church shares “Movies with a Point” the third Saturday of the month. Refreshments will be served.

Chicken sandwich drive-thru open

MT. COMFORT — Chick-fil-A lunches are available from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Wednesdays (or while supplies last) at Mt. Comfort Church’s Mt. Comfort Campus, 3179 N. County Road 600W, Greenfield.

Each lunch costs $8 and includes a Chick-fil-A sandwich, bag of chips, cookie and a drink.

All proceeds go to help support Our Lady of the Apostles Family Retreat Center (2884 N. County Road 700W, Greenfield) and Mt. Comfort Church.
