HANCOCK COUNTY — Air Force Airman First Class Andrew D. Brewer recently graduated from basic military training at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland in Texas.
The airman completed an intensive, eight-week program that included training in military discipline and studies, Air Force core values, physical fitness and basic warfare principles and skills.
Airmen who complete basic training earn four credits toward an associate in applied science degree through the Community College of the Air Force.
Brewer is the son of Peggy and Jeff Brewer of Greenfield; brother of Jessie Brewer of Bloomington; grandson of Donna K. Starr of Seymour; nephew of David Brewer of Greenfield; and cousin of Mandy Bode of Muncie and Nathan B. Bode of Crawfordsville.
He is a 2011 graduate of Seymour High School. He earned an associate degree in 2014 from Vincennes University.
