Carolyn Sue Hamm (Ogborn), 56, heaven gained a beautiful angel on Jan. 28, 2015. Carolyn was born Sept. 19, 1958 as the 500th baby to be born at Community Hospital East.

Our Lord has decided it was time for our beloved Carolyn to go home, undoubtedly taken through the pearly gates on the back of a Harley Davidson.

She will always be known as the loving, caring, nurturer that she was. She has spent majority of her life serving her family, friends, and community. She is known for her dedication to the American Legion Riders. As the assistant director, she was instrumental to the state of Indiana’s largest benefit ride “The Ride for Justice.”

She is survived by her husband, Curtis; her adoring children, Timothy Harrison, Tina (Harrison) Moore (Ryan) and Traci (Harrison) Hinson (Joshua); and her grandchildren, who were her world, Jake, Julian, and Royce and her siblings, Scott (Karen) Ogborn, Cathleen (Steve) Neel, Karen Ogborn, Christeen (Ron) Spencer.

She is preceded in this journey by her parents, Ronald and Patricia Ogborn.

Visitation will be from 3 p.m. until time of service. Her Celebration of Life service will be held at 5 p.m. at the Community Life Center at Washington Park East on Feb. 7, 2015. Please come willing to share your precious memories, spoken or written, of Carolyn.

In lieu of flowers on Carolyn’s behalf, please make your charitable donations to Forum Credit Union. Those donations will be dispersed to her favorite charities, The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, Riley Children’s Hospital, and Westfield’s Fallen Soldiers.
