Greenfield couple wins reserve grand champion in BBQ contest

Doug and Tina Todd of Greenfield’s Smoke-N-Peppers won reserve grand champion in last months’ Madison Ribberfest Indiana State Championship Barbeque Cookoff. They finished second in chicken, third in pork ribs, 11th in pork and 17th in beef brisket, with a second place overall prize of reserve grand champion. Earlier this year, they won their first grand championship at a competition in Warsaw, as well as reserve champions in a shelbyville competition. The Madison Ribberfest competition is sanctioned by the  Kansas City Barbeque Society, a nonprofit organization.
