CUMBERLAND — A Saturday praise and worship service begins April 17 at Buck Creek Baptist Church, 135 Muessing St.
The service will be at 5:30 p.m. Saturdays and is expected to last no more than an hour. It will consist of primarily praise/worship songs and a short message from the Bible.
There will be no formal offering taken, although receptacles will be available for donations if anyone wishes to contribute.
The service is intended "to be a ‘come as you are’ opportunity to worship God," the Rev. Randy Stone, the church’s pastor, wrote in an email.
After the service, a light meal will be served.
