GREENFIELD — FUSE is having its 13th annual Strike a Difference Bowl-a-Thon on Feb. 27 at Strike Force Lanes in Greenfield.
Registration starts at 4 p.m., and bowling starts at 5 p.m.
This is a major fundraiser for FUSE — Families United for Support and Encouragement — a local nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of children with special needs.
All bowlers are challenged to raise a minimum of $100. Bowlers are encouraged to reach out to friends and family for $10 donations, or ask their employers about company matching.
Prizes will be given away during the event, and participants get a T-shirt. Participants may register as an individual or as a team of five.
Those who wish to support the event virtually are invited to raise funds for FUSE, then receive an event shirt and certificate to bowl two games, shoes included, at a later date. Those doing so still need to register but click on the “Bowl Later” option at registration.
Sponsors are encouraged to give anything from a door prize to a $1,000 event sponsorship. Sponsorships can be mailed to FUSE or paid online on your team or individual bowler page.
