Warren F. Brint, 102, of McCordsville, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2020 at Traditions at Brookside. He was born March 16, 2018 in McNairy County, TN to the late Frank & Loudella (Weatherly) Brint.

Warren attended Selmer High School graduating in 1936 and later received his BA in Chemistry, History & Math from Memphis State College. Warren married the love of his life C. Joyce (Walker) Brint October 8, 1938 and were married for 54 years before her passing in 1992. He had a varied professional life starting with teaching elementary school in McNairy County, TN and then high school at Humes High in Memphis TN. He later retired from E.J. Dupont Co in 1982 after 42 years of service where he served for 22 years as the manager of the manufacturing plants in Kentucky, Ohio & Indiana. He was a lifetime member of the Selmer Masonic Lodge #743, the IQHRA and former member of the TBA. He was a 32-degree member of the Scottish Rite of Indianapolis and a member of the Fortville Lions Club. He was commissioned a Honorable Kentucky Colonial by Governor Edward T. Breathett in 1967.

Warren raised Quarter & Thoroughbred Horses, raced at River Downs in Cincinnati and various tracks around Indiana

Warren is survived by children: Phyllis (Dean) Gerber and Marty (Ron) Wyatt; 4 grandchildren: Deborah McLeod, Justin (Janie)Gericke, Greg (Janelle)Wyatt and Jeff (Shannon)Wyatt: 11 great-grandchildren; Gregory, Juliana, Gracie, Morgan, Taylor, Timothy, Matthew, Stephen, Maxwell, Isla & Gigi: 5 great-great-grandchildren; Cash, Presley, Cannon, Kinsley & Quinn as well as several nieces and nephews

He was preceded in death by his wife Joyce in 1992, his parents listed above; brother Henry L. Brint, son-in-law Robert Gericke & nephew Gerald Oneal Brint.

A service to celebrate Warren’s life will take place on Friday, December 4, 2020 at 1:00pm at Seals Funeral Home in Fortville. Friends may call on Friday at the funeral home from 11:00 am until the time of service. Burial will follow at Gravel Lawn Cemetery, Fortville. As a reminder, the government mandate requires guests to wear masks when inside our building. We are limited to a capacity of 50 guests at a time and please practice social distancing.
