Women’s prayer conference continues today
GREENFIELD — The “Women of Prayer” conference began Friday and continues at 10 a.m. today at Apostolic Pentecostal Church, 1202 E. Fifth St.
Speakers include Jenifer Williams of Alexandria and DeAnna Sibley of Castroville, Texas.

‘Surviving the Holidays’ is today
GREENFIELD — When you’re grieving a loved one’s death, the holiday season can be especially painful.
“Surviving the Holidays” is a seminar that helps participants discover:
-How to deal with emotions
-What to do about traditions
-Helpful tips for surviving social events
-How to find hope for the future
The seminar will be offered from 9:30 to 11:30 Saturday (Nov. 14) at St. James Lutheran Church, 1741 S. State St.

Blood drive set in McCordsville
McCORDSVILLE — A community blood drive is set for 3 to 7 p.m. Thursday in the fellowship hall of McCordsville United Methodist Church, 6247 W. Broadway.
Sign up in the events tab on the "McCordsville UMC" Facebook page. Walk-in blood donors are also welcome.
Another blood drive is set for the same hours Dec. 17.
