McCORDSVILLE — The town of McCordsville encourages residents to turn their porch lights on at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, Aug. 4, for a national event that’s brought law enforcement and communities together throughout the past.
McCordsville usually celebrates National Night Out Fight Against Crime with a community event. Out of an abundance of caution and due to the changes presented in Gov. Eric Holcomb’s pause in the current stage of the state’s reopening plan, the town is taking a different approach to the event this year with the hopes of rescheduling in-person festivities at a later date.
