GREENFIELD — After seeking funds to build a storage barn for its furniture ministry, Faith Baptist Church has met its goal. Construction will start this fall.
“Thank you so much to all those who donated, and a huge shout of praise to the Hancock County Community Foundation for their $1 to $1 match up to $3,000,” said Karla Whisenand, director of Love INC, which works closely with the church’s furniture ministry.
The ministry, which provides household furnishings to families in need, resumed last fall after halting for several months because the partners had lost access to a place to store furniture and appliances.
Those wishing to donate appliances and furniture are asked to contact Love INC at 317-468-6300.
