GREENFIELD
Donna Marie (Bates) Olston, age 56, of Greenfield, went home to Rejoice with the Lord, on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Hancock Regional Hospital. She was born in Danville, Indiana on July 23, 1963 to Don and Lois (Helton) Bates. Donna married Lee Olston on November 11, 2011 in Goshen, Indiana.
She was a forklift operator at Keystone RV in Goshen for 10 plus years. Donna attended Realife Church in Greenfield. She was an avid bingo player, enjoyed playing cards and traveling. Donna loved getting her nails done by her granddaughter. She cherished spending time with her family and loving on her puppies, Brownie and Rocky.
Donna is survived by her husband, Lee Olston of Greenfield; sons, Donnie Ray of Goshen and Zach Olston of Greenfield; daughters, Charity (Kris) Watson of Goshen, Alicia Olston of Greenfield, and Stacia Stephens of Connersville; 11 grandchildren; brothers, Gary Bates and Steven Bates both of Goshen; sisters, Joyce (Stan) Weaver of Goshen, Deanna (Ed) Fortier, Marjie Spears of Greenfield, Simona Tornoff Denney of Indianapolis; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Don and Lois Bates; brothers, Don Helton and Jim Bates; sister, Pamela Bates; and nephew, Craig Chrispyn.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 6, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 7, 2020, at 11:00 a.m. at the mortuary. Burial will follow at Park Cemetery in Greenfield.
