County adds 3 cases, no deaths

HANCOCK COUNTY — The Indiana State Department of Health reported Thursday that three more Hancock County residents are known to have COVID-19, bringing the total to 278.

No new deaths were recorded for the county, keeping that figure at 20. Another 49 tests for which results have been received between April 24 and May 13 raised that total to 2,428.

Statewide data on Thursday reported 634 new cases between April 3 and May 13, for a total of 26,503. Indiana’s COVID-19 death toll stood at 1,508 after adding 26 fatalities between May 7 and May 13. More than 6,300 tests between March 26 and May 13 increased that amount to 160,239.
