WESTERVILLE, OHIO

Patricia Ann “Pat” (Hayworth) Miller, age 89, of Westerville, Ohio, passed away on Monday, March 16, 2020 at Mt. Carmel St. Ann’s Hospital in Westerville, Ohio. She was born in Indianapolis on August 3, 1930 to Cecil and Levada (Herold) Hayworth. She graduated from Arsenal Tech High school in 1948. Pat married William “Bill” Miller, Jr. on August 23, 1954 in Indianapolis.

She worked for Central Supply in the clerical department in Indianapolis for many years. Pat was a tour guide for James Whitcomb Riley House in Greenfield for over 10 years and was also a gift shop hostess for Cracker Barrel in Greenfield. She was a member of Trinity Park United Methodist Church, where she was active in the choir. Pat was a member of the Greenfield Community Choir She was referred to as Meggie and Ammee by her grandchildren and family. Pat loved cooking, singing in the choir, and being with her family.

Pat is survived by her daughter, Marcia (Mark) Knapke of Westerville, OH; daughter-in-law, Brigette Miller of Morristown; five grandchildren, David (Ashley), Bradley (Billie), Julie (Mike), Matthew (Melissa) and Jessica (Josh); seven great-grandchildren; and sister, Beverly (Bob) Sipes of Indianapolis. She was preceded in death by her parents, Cecil and Levada Hayworth; husband, Bill Miller, sons, Bradley Miller and Kirk Miller; and brother, Edward Hayworth.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 19, 2020, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory, 1484 W. US Hwy. 40, Greenfield, IN 46140. A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 20, 2020, at 10:00 a.m. at the mortuary. Entombment will follow at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.
