GREENFIELD — Two local nonprofits recently received $1,000 grants from the Hancock County Community Foundation.

Love INC will use the funds to help transition its computer system to a cloud-based platform. The change will allow Love INC to upgrade its database capacity and serve clients more efficiently.

The Wilkinson Police Department will use the funds to help purchase a new radar unit to document moving violations.

Both grants were issued from the Community Foundation’s Enrichment Fund, a pool of money set aside each year to meet nonprofit organizations’ needs that arise outside of the major grant cycles.
