FORTVILLE
David Kent Walsh, Sr., age 76, of Fortville, passed away Friday, November 8, 2019 at Miller’s Merry Manor. He was born in Elwood, IN, on February 5, 1943 to Merle Judson and Ruth (Brown) Walsh. He graduated from Fortville High School in 1963. He married Karen Ann Bucher on November 30, 1963.
David worked for Chrysler Corporation as a Factory Laborer for 30 years before retiring in 1993. He was an avid car fan and loved to buy and sell garage sale items.
David is survived by his two sons, David K. (Michele) Walsh, Jr. and Scott Walsh; grandson, David K. Walsh III; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Merle and Ruth (Brown) Walsh; wife, Karen Ann (Bucher) Walsh; and several siblings.
Per Mr. Walsh’s wishes there will not be any public visitation or services.
Arrangements are being handled by Erlewein Mortuary & Crematory in Fortville.
