McCORDSVILLE — Hancock Wellness Center, 8505 N. Clearview Drive, invites the public to drop in for the scheduled “Second Wednesday Speaker” at the Senior Social Wednesdays gathering at 10 a.m. Oct. 9.
Barb Pescitelli, Nurse Practitioner from Hancock Internal Medicine in Greenfield will be there for the popular “Ask A Nurse” day.
Senior Social Wednesdays is an ongoing weekly program open to anyone from 10 to 11 a.m. Each week has a different a scheduled activity for the first 15 to 20 minutes with plenty of time for casual conversation and refreshments after. This is offered at no charge, and it is not necessary to be a member to attend.
The weekly schedule is as follows:
First Wednesday — “Game Day with Prizes” — sponsored by Springhurst Health Campus and Greenfield Healthcare Center.
Second Wednesday — “Sensational Speakers” — sponsored by Traditions at Brookside.
Third Wednesday — “Make a Move” — brought to you by Hancock Wellness Center
Fourth Wednesday — “Fascinating Food Facts” — sponsored by Suburban Home Health.
Fifth Wednesday — “Brunch and Bingo” — sponsored by Traditions at Brookside.
