Historic building restoration seminar lunch coming up

GREENFIELD — A seminar on restoring historic buildings will be in Greenfield next week.

The event is 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19 at the Greenfield Area Chamber of Commerce, 1 Courthouse Plaza, Greenfield.

Indiana Landmarks president Marsh Davis will speak.

Registration open for Women in Business Conference

GREENFIELD — Registration is now open for the Women in Business Conference later this fall.

The event is on Wednesday, Nov. 13 at the Hancock County Public Library, 900 W. McKenzie Road, Greenfield. Check-in begins at 9 a.m., the event ends at noon and lunch is included. Cost is $40 per person.

Car wash hosting customer appreciation day, festivities

GREENFIELD — Dave’s Super Car Care Inc. is having a customer appreciation day on Saturday.

The Sept. 14 festivities will include giveaways and grill specials during business hours of 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.

Dave’s Super Car Care operates an express care, express wash and express grill at 1749 and 1649 W. Main St., Greenfield.

Car club’s annual fundraiser is Oct. 6, registration open

GREENFIELD — Pre-registration for the Brandywine Cruisers Auto-Fest 2019 is now open.

To pre-register, email brandy [email protected] or call 317-402-9510 by Sept. 29. An entry form is also available on the event’s Facebook page, facebook.com/events/444392179467254. Pre-entries are eligible for a drawing at the show for a chance to win $100.

The show, which benefits the Boys and Girls Club of Hancock County, is 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 6, at Inskeep Ford, 2651 W. Main St., Greenfield. Day-of registration is 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and awards are at 3:30 p.m. There will also be concessions and music.
