UPDATE: The child who was injured in a pedestrian/car crash Wednesday night is in stable condition, police say.
The boy involved is 14 years old and was with his mother at the time of the accident. He suffered minor injuries.
Police say the driver was not at fault.

GREENFIELD — A child was taken to an Indianapolis hospital after being struck by a car Wednesday night as trick-or-treat hours in Greenfield were coming to a close, according to radio traffic.
The crash happened along Main Street between Noble and School streets just before 8 p.m. Wednesday.
Multiple calls about a pedestrian having been struck came into the Hancock County 911 Center, according to radio traffic.
The child was taken to Riley Hospital for Children by an ambulance from the Greenfield Fire Territory.
No other information was immediately available.
