GREENFIELD — The Hancock County Extension Homemakers will hold its holiday bazaar from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday at the Hancock County 4-H Fairgrounds, 620 N. Apple St. Parking and admission are free. Items on sale include baked goods, dip mixes, handmade items, primitive crafts, woodworking, candles, baskets, Christmas decorations and quilts. GREENFIELD — Mark your calendar now to join the Hancock County Extension Homemakers on their annual Chicago Holiday Shopping Trip on Nov. 30. At $65 per person, let the tour bus do the driving. Check in at the Hancock County Fairgrounds, 620 N. Apple St. at 6 a.m. and be on the road by 6:30 a.m. The bus will deliver its passengers to downtown Chicago where the Magnificent Mile, Chicago museums or the German Festival’s Christkindlemarket are a walk or taxi ride away. The bus departs Chicago at 7:30 p.m. and will return to Greenfield by 11 p.m. Register to attend by Nov. 19. Call 317-485-5609 for more information.

CENTERVILLE — The Indiana National Road Association (INRA) offers two weekend events. The first is Dinner With Governor Morton from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday at the Oliver P. Morton House, 313 W. Main St. Morton was Indiana’s governor during the Civil War (1861-1867). Guests will enjoy an authentic 1860s style sit-down dinner and a tour highlighting the extensive and on-going restoration of Morton’s former private residence. Historic re-enactor Kevin Stonerock brings history to life during the evening with his first-person interpretation of Oliver P. Morton. Space for this event is limited to 50 participants. Cost includes dinner at $75 per person, with a $15 discount available to current members of INRA, or those who join INRA at the event. Additional, INRA will host a historic home tour of three pre-Civil War era homes on the National Road between Centerville and Cambridge City. The tour takes place Sunday from 2 to 5 p.m. Included on the tour is the Oliver P. Morton House, the James Rariden House at 120 West Main Street, Centerville, and the Huddleston Farmhouse, 838 National Road, Cambridge City. Tickets can be purchased for $10 at any of the homes, and the homes can be toured in any order.
