GREENFIELD
Kelly Kay (Richwine) Massey, 58, of Greenfield, passed away peacefully at home in her sleep, on October 30, 2024. She was born on August 28, 1966, in Anderson, Indiana, to her parents Douglas and Melanie Richwine of Morristown, IN, formerly of Anderson and Greenfield.
Kelly graduated from Greenfield Central High School and Ball State University. She also graduated from the Master Gardener Program.
She found her passion in life working as a horticulturist at Lowe’s and Brehob in Indianapolis.
In her free time she enjoyed traveling, taking scenic day-trips throughout the state and going to Disney World in Florida. She loved watching hummingbirds in her garden and her beloved cats.
Kelly is survived by her loving husband, Damon Massey of Greenfield, IN; her parents; her daughters, Bethany (Nick) Theobald of Florida, Katelyn Schuck of Fortville, IN, Amanda Schuck of Fortville, IN; sisters, Stacey (Michael) Grainger of Australia, Laura (Stephen) Howell of Bloomington, IN; nieces, Ava and Grace Howell; and many cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Forest and Maxine Richwine, and Robert and Mary Watson; and uncle, Dr. Stephen Watson.
Visitation will be held Thursday, November 7, 2024, from 12:30 pm to 2:30 pm at Loose Funeral Homes &Crematory, in Anderson, IN. Services will follow directly after visitation with Chaplain Brian Farnsley officiating.
Burial will take place in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery.
