Eric Leroy Bulmahn, age 61, of McCordsville, Indiana, passed away Thursday, October 24, 2024 peacefully at his home surrounded by family. He was born in Decatur, Indiana on October 26, 1962 to Leroy Kenneth and Barbara Elouise (Haugk) Bulmahn. He graduated from Bellmont High School in Decatur, Indiana in 1981. Eric furthered his education at Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana and proudly graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing in 1987. He was blessed to meet Monica Lynn Ramey and married her on March 12, 1994 in Bethany Christian Church in Anderson, Indiana.

Eric had an extremely hard work ethic. He was the owner of his own business, Paws Stop, in Lawrence, Indiana for four wonderful years. He was a special person who touched the lives of many and will be greatly missed. Eric was a dedicated member of Zion Lutheran Church. He was also an active member of the volleyball and track teams at Ball State University and a member of the Delta Chi Fraternity during his years there as a student. He continued his involvement with volleyball by coaching girls club volleyball and refereeing division 1 volleyball. He also proudly served as the head coach for the Mt. Vernon High School volleyball team for eight years.

He is survived by his mother, Barbara Elouise Bulmahn; wife, Monica Bulmahn; children, Jaclyn Lorene Bulmahn, Victoria Elouise Bulmahn, and Cecilia Lee Bulmahn; and siblings, Carol (Jack) Negley and Mark (Connie) Bulmahn. He was preceded in death by his father, Leroy Bulmahn.

Visitation will be held on Monday, October 28, 2024, from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, 6513 W 300 S, New Palestine, IN 46163. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church. Pastor Jason Taylor will be officiating. Burial will follow at Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery in New Palestine, Indiana.
