Linda (Turner) Halcomb, 75, passed away peacefully on September 18, 2024. Born June 25, 1949, to Joan and Robert Turner, she grew up in Greenfield, Indiana, and graduated from Hancock Central High School. She earned her Bachelor’s from Purdue University and an MBA from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business.

After a successful career at Roche Diagnostics, Linda rekindled her love for watercolor painting, winning awards and exhibiting her work. She was an active member of the Indiana Watercolor Society and a docent at the Indianapolis Museum of Art (Newfields), where she led programs like “A Closer Look,” exploring art in-depth with visitors. She was also a past president of the Association of International Women, building lasting friendships.

Linda was a compassionate animal lover, adopting many rescue dogs throughout her life.

Survivors include her children Christie Haywood (Greg), Heather Marshall, and Kim Botzum (Mark); six grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; sister Vicki Brooks (Larry); brother Andy Turner (Kandi); and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ken Halcomb, and her parents.
