GREENFIELD
Robert Lynn Stanley, 99, of Greenfield passed away Monday, September 2, 2024. He was born April 12,1925 in Henry Co., the son of the late Marion and Raeburn (Lowe) Stanley.
Lynn was an engineer in the automotive industry of General Motors and retired after 37 years of service. He was a man of many interests, fishing, hunting, traveling, picture taking and woodworking. He loved having his family around and if you had the time to listen, he loved to tell you many stories. He was a member of the Eden Masonic Lodge and attended the Willow Branch United Methodist Church.
Robert is survived by his daughter, Karol (Jim) Lindsay of Shirley, five grandchildren, two step grandchildren, five great grandchildren, seven step great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild on the way.
He is preceded in death by his parents, wife, Helen (Stoner) Stanley, son, Daniel “Danny” Stanley and a brother and sister.
A Memorial Service will be Sunday, September 29, 2024, at the Willow Branch United Methodist Church from 2:00 to 5:00 P.M. Burial will take place at Simmons Cemetery at a later date.
