NEW CASTLE, FORMALLY OF GREENFIELD
Cecilia Kay Prange, formerly from Greenfield, passed away peacefully on August 7, 2024 at The Willows in New Castle.
She was born in Wayne County, IN, to George &Dorothy Hubbell on June 27, 1941.
Cecilia graduated from Thomas Carr Howe High School in 1959. She retired from Good News Ministries in 2009 where she was a secretary. Upon retiring she opened her own sewing &alterations business. She specialized in American Girl Doll clothes. Her workmanship was impeccable on all her projects.
She is survived by four children; Susan Cope, Jeff, Brian and Scott Prange. Siblings; Barbara Ruggles, Sue Welsh and Marty Hubbell. Grandchildren; Brandon Epperson, Cade Prange, Tiffany Evans and Taylor Prange. Nieces; Cindy Raker, Kristi (Mike) Dray and Julie Caudill. Nephews; Tim and Tom Welsh.
She was preceded in death by her adoptive parents, Charles &Maxine Sanders of Indianapolis; brother in law, Larry Welsh.
Cecilia was a long time member of Burge Terrace Baptist Church in Indianapolis where she served faithfully for years.
