This year’s Indiana State Fair kicked off Friday, July 28 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds.

A number of Hancock County 4-H kids are taking their projects to the Indiana State Fair, which opened Friday, July 28 and runs through Aug. 20 at the Indiana State Fairgrounds in Indianapolis.
“There will also be several Hancock County families showing livestock the next few weeks at the fair,” said Olivia Dickson, 4-H program assistant for Purdue Extension of Hancock County.
