GREENFIELD – Hancock County families have been heading to the Indiana State Fair a lot this month, sharing exhibits and earning prizes for a job well done.

Here’s a look at just a few of the photos that have been arriving to our inbox. To share photos for a future edition of the Daily Reporter, email [email protected] and include the name of the student or exhibitor, animal name (if applicable), project details and award received.

Linnea Walker wanted a letter jacket but not until her senior year. “It’s expensive so I suggested we find another way to showcase her G-C Band and G-C Winter Winds patches from high school,” mom Autumn shared. “She made a wall quilt. This is only her second time taking a project to state (she’s a 10-year member).” She earned a red ribbon at the state fair.
