GREENFIELD

Pastor Randy M. Badgley, 72, of Greenfield, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2024, at his home following a brief illness. He was born June 12, 1952, in Anderson, IN, a son of the late Richard Marion and Deloros (Woods) Badgley.

A man of God, Randy’s true passion was preaching the word of God. He had pastored the Mechanicsburg Wesleyan Church several years ago and presently pastored Sugar Grove Bible Church in rural Greenfield.

“A man’s man”, and a strong fighter, he was definitely a family man and full of humor. He was serious about his walk with God but could be funny! He enjoyed riding his motorcycle and had owned and operated USA Scooters in Cumberland. An accomplished electrician, he also owned and operated Town and Country Electrical for over 30 years. A lover of nature and people, he enjoyed the outdoors and was a friend to all. He was the recipient of a successful heart transplant in 2018.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his wife of 30 years, Debbie Badgley of Greenfield; children, Angela (Bryce) Graddy of Middletown, and Jess Holliday of Greenfield; grandchildren, Kinsey (Dylan) Rayn, Katelyn Humphrey, Karly (Nathan) Brummett, Kameron Graddy, Parker and Garrett Holliday; great grandchildren, Croslee, Crue, and Caylor Humphrey, and Oakley Rayn; a sister-in-law, Pam Badgley of Spiceland; two nieces and three nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Cheryl Dupke and a brother, Rick Badgley.

Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 10, 2024, at Sugar Grove Bible Church with Pastor Mike Clark officiating. Burial will follow in McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at 2:00 p.m. Arrangements have been entrusted to Hinsey-Brown Funeral Service Knightstown Chapel.
