To the Editor:
Hicks’ article on the one term of Joe Biden being “consequential” was skewed even more so than his usual left-leaning musings. Biden was consequential for sure, and the consequences were and are horrendous. The highest inflation in 40 years, sky-rocketing interest rates, a foreign policy so inept and weak and embarrassing that the entire communist/socialist world was emboldened to act out. Russia invaded Ukraine and started war. The Islamic terrorists along with Russia were enriched with massive oil revenues after the Biden admin stopped drilling, fracking, and pipelines on day one. Biden will be seen in history exactly as Trump has described him, one of, if not the worst president in our history. The Biden/Harris initiated wide open southern border invasion will also go down in historical infamy for the lasting damage it has caused, thousands of drug deaths, murders, crime of all sorts unleashed upon the American people, all with the pathetic hope of gleaning more future democrat voters. The incompetence and utter idiocy of the Biden admin would take all day to list failure by failure, but sugar-coating this hapless puppet Biden and the ruin and despair he has brought upon the USA is disgusting, but then, that is all the leftist supporters in the media can hope to do. Biden was not just a addled, jocular little guy seeming to wander through his presidency, he was a mean-spirited and vengeful party hack, who put cheap gains in support for a failing democrat party, ahead of the rights and safety of the people he was supposed to be serving, the American people.
