Terry Lynn Ostermyer, 76, of New Palestine passed away June 13th at her home surrounded by her family after a lengthy illness.

Terry was born in Martinsville Indiana on June 20th, 1947. She worked at Lane Bryant for 35 years in various departments. Terry loved to travel, places like Hawaii and Florida were some of her favorites having visited them both several times. She loved her bus trips to casinos with her friends and coworkers. She loved to paint, do jig-saw puzzles with her family, many times the kitchen table would have a 1000pc Thomas Kincaid puzzle being worked on. After family gatherings there was always a big card game going on that she loved. She loved cooking and feeding people, always making pies, cookies, cakes and zucchini bread that will be copied but never match hers. For years she donated to the St. Jude children’s Hospital.

She is survived by her loving husband of 59 years William, daughters Melissa and Amber, son Derek (Sara); five granddaughters; Madeline, Angelina, Penelope, Charlotte and Samantha; sister Sandy (Bill) Smith, brother Danny (Tammy) Ragan; step-mother Patrica Tibbs; niece Tracy (Steven) Smith; nephews James (Beverly) Ostermyer, Brandon Smith, Shawn and Terry Ragan; cousins David Marston, Cynthia Marston Walton, Mark (Saretha) Blake and Rhonda and Jackie Blake, also sister-in-laws, Carolyn Caughey & Marilyn Trotter.

She is preceded in death by her mother Roberta Ragan; father Kenneth Tibbs and sister Teresa Tibbs
